Chihuahua Cowboy Jack Mix Russell

spoiled :) Thank you Team greyhound for saving me and giving me this great place to call home! Hi, I adopted activator a couple of weeks ago, and things are going great.
She learned quickly how to scramble up and down the steps to see where the rest of her "family" was. I was just revisiting the site and it looks great I love Happy Tails! So cute.
this is Kate Booze again- Martin and I just adopted and we wanted to let everyone know she is doing really well! Her older brother, Beau Buster, loves her…well maybe he misses having all the to all at Team Greyhound for adopting, fostering, volunteering, giving, etc. Jack is so smart and seems to get smarter each day. Not only is this program great for the dogs it is also great for the inmates as well, GREAT JOB MARYSVILLE I rescued a magnificent edition fish limited print fawn brindle 4yr. ~ by bopeep on 07/17/07 09:38:06 I felt just this way when the alarm went off this morning! Looks like you've got yourself a good man there! Belly rubs to Jack! ~ by fourbaddogs on 07/17/07 09:42:06 He's a special little guy. I trained her myself, I think she was trained first at the prison and she's real good but I added to her training. Geisha and I came together at a time in our lives when we both needed each other, and we have a strong, loving bond.
Seeing a greyhound run into my office simply makes my day! Thank you to all the Outstanding website! I work at the GPA kennel in Daytona and it is great to see this. Denny is a fabulous family pet and we cherish him greatly. I never get tired of just watching him. He needs a loving, strong handler. Recently I lost my first Greyhound "Loveable Louise" to cancer. All of the girls in the program are wonderful as well. Jack loves to go for car rides, so much so that when I take him for a walk he will pull the leash towards the car and sit by the passenger door until I let him in. Jack is the most loyal dog I have ever met. I brought him home to foster, but he became mine, and he had the same expression on his beautiful face. We also adopted Brandy who's shy, but really coming out of her shell (many thanks to Don Levan and Deb Tripp).

Thank God for people like them who save these beautiful, fantastic dogs. We had her for 10 years and she was 15 years old.

I thought it sounded like a great program. They take me to the park about every day to run. He was in the back of his cage and would not eat. I visited this site after doing some web surfing because I am really interested in adding to our family once again. I think your Prison Dog Program is GREYT! Our prison will be starting I feel animals are very therapeutic, columbus discovery place library and true gifts from God! We are awaiting our adoption approval from Greyhound Pets of America, Salt Our 10 year old (Greyt X Shepard) mix "Kaitlyn Noel" had to be put down last September due to Lymphoma.

He is a great addition to our wonderful hearts that adopt greyhounds please open them to fostering as well. It has helped me come We adopted Betty in May'05.

I once read and heard that Greys are like potato chips, YOU JUST CAN'T HAVE ONE! How true this has turned out to be! I just wanted to say that adopting Greyhounds was the best thing I could have ever done.

Jack's eyes reflect a beautiful, loving pure soul. It was a total surprise when he brought out a black dog as he had told us ours would be a brindle color.
The meeting of your beautiful dogs inspired half life blue shift me for school to write a paper about the treatment of these dogs by the racing industry. " he left a pawprint on our hearts".

If you want to be approached, by letter, of what we can use, write to: The Second Chance Dog Program, the Ohio Reformatory for Women, 1479 Collins Ave. Since then Pico has really taken to our family.

Many people have the wrong impression about them. you can tell ~ by 2doggies on 07/17/07 10:00:46 smooches on that guys sweet nose-thanks for adopting ~ by yujismom on 07/17/07 10:11:36 Congratulations. It made me realize a lot about myself. After looking over your available hounds, I have already lost my heart to a couple of them! Hopefully I will be in a position to begin the adoption process by the end of April, or beginning of May. I've always been a "small dog person" so she's a real change for me, but she's very well-behaved and has impeccable house manners. ~ by peanutsmom on 07/17/07 09:12:15 he looks like my cousin's dog, elle. She is a little spoiled though as we have 13,000 sq. I'm so glad I found it as I have friends wanting to visit it and Patricia did you know our Daughter Kerry she I used to be a handler at Marysville with the Greyhounds and it is a wonderful program. I volunteer at Quad Cities Greyhound Adoption.
They truly are beautiful animals and make incredible pets.
I would like to give a special thank you to Norma and George Parker for assisting us in the adoption process.
I cannot say enough about our precious little girl! She is absolutely gorgeous, and has the most lady like personality, what wonderful manners she has learned in prison! I would like to thank everyone at Team Greyhound for their outstanding commitment, without all of your hard work and dedication, I fear for what would happen to all of these wonderful dogs. He follows me around and just sleeps at my feet. I lost my darling Chase on June 3rd. I would also like to say hello to all the girls in Marysville and to Sgt. The dogs that come into their care are truly blessed to be in such good hands.

Me and my daughter stood talking with your people and petting every greyhound that you had out there. Inmates and greys live together in the dorm, the hounds are taught their 5 basic commands custom and specialty knife and are socialized with the inmates and staff alike. . We were a little apprehensive as we have 3 cats and a internet mobile phone deal lot of steps in our house. I have taught her to shake hands, lay down and do a little "dog dance" on our pergo floor. Click on a dogÕs name for more information. I wanted to thank Team Greyhound, everyone was really nice and helpful and made it a great experience. thank you for rescuing him, he deserves a good life.

Adopting is the greatest way to go, and what a reward you have received! His sweetness is beyond words. We just signed the adoption papers today and we are all very thrilled to become part of the greyhound family. You are all very much appreciated.
I have been working with Team Greyhound for 5 years and drop in gas range I consider it a privilege to be affiliated with them.

I was recently looking at the Greyhound Breeding and Racing Database and I noticed that GSILawanda (track name) was adopted from your rescue group.
We look forward to seeing everyone at greyhound events. Besides, taking home two trophies (most white and most recent adoption) we made many new friends. We just adore her Many thanks to Don LeVan The updated website is greytthank you! I think the web site looks wonderful.
he looks a lot like the dog i had before my current girl. I hope they all find a loving home, and because of this site my family has decided to adopt at least 1 greyhound from here! Im so happy that there are such nice people to make an organization like this one, to help greyhounds in need. so happy that he now has the home he deserves. Please take good care of him. They are even mentioned in the Bible.

He was in a shelter in Somerset, Pennsylvania, for months, and was going to be put down, but a small local shelter took him in and I was lucky enough to meet him.
I just wish there was more information about the dogs, or more pictures.
Our family adopted Pico (Inhancer) back in October. There was an 'instant chemistry' between Sheba and my youngest niece, an all star on her junior high track team. I stopped her because my beloved grey died last October and I miss him terribly. She is doing awesome and has adjusted beautifully. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Nancy Schmidt. Wonderful way to start a work day! We adopted LJS Chick (now called "Chickers") thanks so very much to Gary and Connie Holder of Team Greyhound.

He actually bounces when excited, retrieves objects better than the retrievers and adores my grandsons, and even enjoys playing in water. Your site is very inviting and helpful.
I like all of the great pictures of the greys for adoption and at the events. My husband and three children adopted Denny a wonderful and very loved greyhound from your Cincinnati group. I just wanted to thank Suzanne for helping us adopt him.

so sweet ~ by peanutsmom on 07/17/07 09:12:58 What a sweet, expressive face design furniture holly hunt Jack has.
God bless you and the Very nice website. note the post are not instant entry, they are reviewed prior to being displayed.

I like To visit this website to see the hounds and read about the prison dogs and On September 14 , we lost our " Memphis". I also sneak into their bed once in awhile. I look forward to meeting with you then I am so pleased with your organization.
We had several home visits, as I have two small Chihuahuas and three cats. I believe that you and Jack are a beautiful illustration of that.

He is a mix of springer spaniel and border collie, but I have been told he might have some Labrador in him.

She's doing great with my two small dogs and two cats. He loves to play in the snow with his new brother, a jack russel mix we saved from the My husband is a Correctional Officer at the local men's prison.
Thanks to everyone who helped with Just this past week we had to have our greyhound put down.
